I am a licensed clinical psychologist with over 20 years of experience in psychological assessment and child clinical psychology. My services include:
(1) Psychoeducational testing.
(2) Educational consultation and assessment.
(3) Full intellectual, educational, emotional, and personality testing.
(4) Individual, marital, and family therapy.
(5) Forensic services, including court and child custody evaluations.
A primary purpose of psychoeducational testing is to assess attention, learning, emotional, or psychological problems that may be preventing you from working up to your ability in school and work settings. As a result, I am then able to determine if you qualify for accommodations or special education services in school and on standardized tests. Conducting an evaluation also allows me to assess your strengths and weaknesses and to make recommendations for services that I believe would be helpful to you.
I work with all ages, including children, adolescents, and adults, to help you reach your goals, regardless of your academic or work history. I have extensive experience in conducting evaluations for the purposes of placement in college, including programs that offer services for students with ADHD or learning disabilities. For younger children, I specialize in gifted and talented, private and public school placement, and kindergarten readiness evaluations. I particularly enjoy conducting assessments which allow me to get to know you in depth, as well as use the most up-to-date assessment procedures available in order to determine what might be preventing you from reaching your potential.
